Junior Master Gardeners
The Junior Master Gardener program began in 2006 to teach students about gardening. Playing in the dirt is always fun for the children, but the Junior Master Gardener program also teaches gardening basics intending to start a new generation of gardeners. The program can lead to a deepening appreciation of plants and nature and a lifetime of enjoyment. Lessons are taught in the classroom and outside in the garden where they get hands-on experience. This program runs from January until October.
