Water regularly in summer/water sparingly in winter
A grasslike clump. Most frequently used as a houseplant. Long stalks have baby plants, which will root.


Aloe Vera

​Houseplant. 'Medicine Plant'   Gel in stems can be used for burns. Sun/part shade.   2 foot.

Most prefer bright sun but will tolerate some shade
Water regularly
Primarily used as bedding plants. Oval, glossy green or bronze leaves. Single or double flowers in a variety of colors.


Bleeding Heart Vine

Tropical grown as a houseplant.  Part shade.  Red flowers emerges from clusters of white bracts.  Blooms best when pot bound.  At end of rest period, as new growth appears, cut back at least by half the previous year's growth in order to keep plant in bounds and promote more flowers.  There is an all red variety too.  36".

 Bright, indirect light inside.  Can summer in a shady location.  Blooms better when pot bound. Feed once a month.  

Kimberly Queen Fern

Shapely form and gracefully arching fronds.  Medium Light.  Looks good in containers or hanging baskets.

Rabbits Foot Fern

Moderate to bright light.
Rabbits Foot Fern gets its name from the furry rhizomes that grow on the top of the soil and resembles a rabbits foot.  The rhizomes often grow over the side of the pot. 

Mother of a Thousands​

Houseplant.  Bright Light. Low maintenance succulent gets its name from the many baby plantlets that grow along the edges of its serrated leaves. ​

Bright, indirect light.  Clumping fan of long,strappy leaves.  New plantlets grow at tips of flower stems, weighing them down until they bend to the ground and take root (walk).
