Black Eyed Susan Vine

Annual.  Full sun.   Black-Eyed Susan Vine has masses of blooms all summer and large, lush foliage. The 1- to 2-inch blooms arise very profusely, facing out from the vine. Petal color ranges from mid-yellow to deep orange, and many blooms feature the characteristic black eye.

Bleeding Heart Vine

​Tropical grown as a houseplant.  Part shade.  Red flowers emerges from clusters of white bracts.  Blooms best when pot bound.  At end of rest period, as new growth appears, cut back at least by half the previous year's growth in order to keep plant in bounds and promote more flowers.  There is an all red variety too.  36".

Hyacinth Bean

Full sun.  Annual vine will grow to 10 feet.  Purple blooms and pods. Leaves have purple veins.   Regular water.

Malibar Spinach

Annual.  Full sun. Intricate fleur-de-lis shaped leaves that cascade on strong vigorous vines. The showy foliage is covered with sprays of graceful tubular flowers that start as orange-red buds and open to shade from crimson to soft coral, lemon yellow and vanilla, all the shades appearing together on each arching blossom.

Perennial vine.  Billowy masses of 1 inch fragrant, creamy white flowers in late summer, fall. 

Sweet Potato Vine

Full sun to Partial Shade
Keep moist
Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds
Low spreading vine with green or purple star shaped leaves, showy pink to purple flowers. Adds drama and color to the landscape. Will take over if you let it. Drapes beautifully in tall pots.

Annual.  Sun.  While not a true spinach, this beautiful red-stemmed vining plant produces large, deep green leaves that have a remarkably “spinach-like” flavor.  Flowers are tiny globe-shaped buds measuring less than half a centimeter that grow in bunches along the tips of  vines
